Building a home can be a daunting experience, for both first time builders, and those of us that have previous experience. The experienced team at Eggins Prestige Homes understands how exciting this time is and our aim is to ensure that you have a memorable and enjoyable journey.

Eggins Prestige Homes is a family owned, residential building company that is servicing the Northern Rivers region of NSW incorporating the surrounding areas of:

Our experienced team are able to walk beside you through every step of the build!

• CONSULTATION

  • Client brings in house plan or requests a custom design.
  • John Eggins himself will sketch layout of house plan.
  • We ensure that all council requirements and estate covenants are compliant. Reports required will be sourced from the most experienced professions.
  • Site inspection organised.
  • Consult with clients to determine lifestyle requirements.

• PLANNING

  • First draft of custom plans are drawn and priced.
  • Any variations are decided and priced (if required).
  • Eggins Prestige Homes will meet with client and discuss the building plan, materials, timeframes and pricing.
  • Clients to choose all materials, fixtures and fittings - consultation with Selections Consultant available throughout build.
  • Eggins Prestige Homes will provide all necessary information to clients, banks or financial provider as required.

• ADMINISTRATION

  • Contracts completed and ready for signing.
  • Working drawings completed.
  • Eggins Prestige Homes will obtain Home Warranty Insurance, advise on certifier engagement, council fees and compliance.
  • Construction can begin.

• CONSTRUCTION

  • Eggins Prestige Homes will confirm procedures for contract during construction.
  • Subcontractors and suppliers are booked with plans provided, as necessary.
  • Preparation of site safety documents & clients access to site documents.
  • Start date confirmed with contractors, suppliers and client.
  • Supervisor to inspect all goods received on site and manage all sub-contractors and work in process.
  • Once building is complete, practical completion inspection will be booked, and client notified.

• KEY HANDOVER

  • Practical completion inspection done, client informed of handover date. Occupation Certificate is applied for from Certifier.
  • Handover - Client is shown through new home and receives key.
  • Client moves into new custom built home.

• WARRANTY PERIOD

  • Eggins Prestige Homes stands behind their workmanship and offers to complete any maintenance issues or adjustments within the first six months of their client moving into their new home.
  • Under the Building Services Authority (Home Warranty Insurance) you have six years structural guarantee.
